An iPhone is the dream of many. There are many stories about buying this premium smartphone from Apple. The number of people who have saved up money for a long time and bought an iPhone, or loaned an iPhone to a friend or close relative abroad, will not be less at all. But because of the exorbitant price, the dream of iPhone remains a dream for many.
But there is good news for iPhone lovers in the Indian market. Recently, Apple has given an attractive discount on the iPhone 15 Pro Max model through the popular e-commerce marketplace Amazon. The latest version of the iPhone is currently available on Amazon at a 5 percent discount for INR 1,51,700 (approximately BDT 2,12,870). The previous price of the phone was Rs 1,59,900.
Many people are seeing the unveiling of the iPhone 16 in September as the reason behind this discount of Apple. Apple will naturally want to sell as many iPhone 15 series phones as possible from their inventory before the iPhone 16 hits the market.
The iPhone 15 Pro Max features a powerful A17 Pro chip, 6.7-inch Super Retina XDR display, 5x telephoto camera, and customizable action buttons.
Earlier last month, Apple also offered attractive discounts on Flipkart, another popular e-commerce marketplace in India. The beige version of the iPhone 14 Plus model (128GB storage) is available for just INR 56,999 (roughly Rs. 78,580 in BDT) on Flipkart. But the offer was active only for 24 hours.
Note that this year, Apple has reduced the price of iPhone twice in the Chinese market. In the context of fierce competition in China’s smartphone market, Apple has given discounts of up to 318 USD on certain models.
Apple’s traditional marketing strategy rarely sees such steep discounts. The reason behind this is simply to clear the inventory, or is the US tech giant following this strategy because it is somewhat forced to compete with a strong competitor like Huawei.
